| Approach | When it fits | Before you start |
|---|---|---|
| Browser tabs | Reading a few pages or completing a quick task. | Manage website sessions and tabs in your browser. |
| Personal workspace | Comparing sites side by side and keeping notes, tasks and a source basket together. | Start without an account. Guest work stays in that browser. |
| Shared Work Hub | Working together on research or a project with shared notes and sources. | Sign-in is required. The owner sets editing permissions and pane allowances. |
What does an all-in-one workspace bring together?
Imagine preparing a meeting brief with a source page, a second website to compare, your own notes and a few tasks to follow up. Arrange them in one workspace. Collect selected text and images in a basket, and connect separate lines of research with Work Map.
With supported websites, continue researching, taking notes and organizing sources without leaving this workspace. When you want to use your own AI tool, review the material before handing it over. Bringing tools together does not combine every internet service’s subscription, price or files into one account; each provider’s own terms still apply.
Try it with your own task
Choose a small research topic. Open two sources side by side, add a quotation with its source link to the basket and note why it matters. Reopen the workspace and check whether you can understand where you left off and find the evidence again. If these steps help your daily work, a unified workspace is a useful fit.
When you want to work together on that material, create a Work Hub and invite a teammate. Check each person’s role before using the shared note and basket. Working together does not automatically share personal workspaces or website passwords.
Check browser and website compatibility
Direct website panes and content capture use the desktop Chrome extension. Access to an unlisted site may need your approval. A website’s sign-in, payment, file or embedding rules may require a separate browser window for some steps; every page cannot be promised to behave identically.
Personal guest data and shared room data are stored differently. Back up local work before clearing browser data, and remember that authorized room members can see material you add to a shared space. The extension and privacy guides explain these choices in detail.

What is the best browser for work?
The answer depends on your device and the sites you use. Compare compatibility, accessibility, permissions and resource use on your own task. We have not measured browser speed or security superiority for App of Everything; this guide helps you try a workflow for research and working together.
Is App of Everything a new browser?
It is a web app running in your existing browser, not a separate browser engine. It focuses on using websites side by side, collecting sources and working in a shared workspace. Direct website tools may require the extension.
